Q: Why does my platform not perform the live update?
A: The current build is 226, which was released on 24th March 2010. The most common cause for live updates not running automatically is the version of Windows you are using. Clients using Windows Vista or Windows 7 will need to ensure that MT4 is set to ‘run as an administrator’ so that it can perform the live updates required as and when they are released. To set the platform to run in this way, right click on your desktop icon, and choose properties. Once the menu appears in the tab called ‘compatibility’ you can set the platform to run as administrator in the Privilege Level section.
